Caring for your swimsuit

Caring for your swimsuit ensures that it retains its colour and the fabrics don’t deteriorate.

We recommend using our Bombshell Bay swimsuit cleanser which has been specially formulated to give your swimsuit a deep clean that removes salt, sunscreen and chlorine without any nasty chemicals.

All Bombshell Bay swimsuits come with a bag for you to store your swimsuit in between swims and whilst travelling to make sure that two piece swimsuits remain together and any removable straps/halters don’t go missing.

How to wash your swimsuit

1. Hand wash swimsuits only. Never, ever, ever be tempted to machine wash them. Ever.

2. Use Bombshell Bay swimsuit cleanser to thoroughly remove sunscreen, chlorine and saltwater residue.

Add a dollop of swimsuit cleanser to the palm of your hand and lather over swimsuit.

Do not use wool wash or normal washing powder as this will damage and stain your swimsuit leaving marks.

3. Rinse in cold water and lie flat in shade to dry.
Do not hang swimsuit. Do not wring. Do not wash in hot water or in a washing machine. Do not dry clean.
