Festival Fashion Survival Guide
As we speak we are winging our way to Byron Bay to join in on all of the festivities at Splendour In The Grass!
When it comes to such events it pays to be prepared so we have put together a few essential items when it comes to outdoor, multiple day, weather uncertain events such as these. Its important to remember we aren’t all Kate Moss, so take a look at our suggestions below on having an awesome time… rain hail or shine!
1. Hunter Boots
There is nothing worse than having cold feet. These babies will last you a lifetime and they have the Royal Warrant stamp of approval (oh and that of festival rock royalty such as Kate Moss and Gwen Paltrow.
2. Rain Poncho
I splashed out and got a good quality fold up into your pocket rain poncho when I was in the UK earlier in the year (If you cant find a good quality rain poncho in the UK, where can you find one??) Chances are you will need to pull this out at some stage, it could be strung up between two tents as a shade or for its intended use, as a rain coat, either way it will come in handy!
3. Straw Hat/Fedora
Makes filthy dirty hair look great in seconds. Pair with a dry shampoo and you might even have a good-festival-hair-day!
4. Sunglasses
A must! Santa bought me this pair of Marc by Marc Jacobs Retro Sunglasses last year and they are perfect for all occasions. I prefer brown over black, but for ultimate rock chick, dark sunglasses are a must!
5. Accessories
This Samantha Wills “Sunday At The Bowery Ring” is to die for. Layer up your accessories and make a statement!
6. Splendour In The Grass Mobile App
Download it from iTunes and never miss a beat.. (pun intended) :)
So, that’s it, we are sure you have some of your own festival survival tips so leave us a comment below and tell us what your festival fashion survival skills are like!
