Grace Kelly: Style Icon Exhibition
Last weekend we checked the oil and water in the car and took off for an afternoon in the country. The last time we went to Bendigo Art gallery was to see the “Made in Hollywood” exhibition in December (read about it here) where we saw the advertisement for the “Grace Kelly Style Icon” exhibit to be held from March-June 2012.
The exhibition is broken into three areas, her early career, her as a bride and finally as a style icon. Through this we are able to explore the evolution of her style and see her wardrobe from many angles, Dior Couture, YSL shirt dresses and amazing ethnic flowing kaftans from the 70′s- divine.
The exhibition is all that you would imagine and well worth the $20 (its crazy busy on weekends so avoid if you can) So, grab a few girlfriends and hit the road, see a bit of the country and some amazing gowns from this centuries greatest style icons.
