Miami Swim Fashion Week Favourites

This was no easy task, but someone’s gotta do it!

Here it is Bombshells, our favourite bikinis and one-pieces from Miami Swim Week 2013.

Fave 5 Bikinis 

1. Red Carter

It’s hard work shopping for your own bikini, let alone picking your favourite out of Miami Swim Week but here it is, Red Carter’s Mexican meets Art Deco strapless bikini. Loving the red and gold! Stay tuned this summer; bold prints are going to be HUGE.

2. White Sands

Aussie label White Sands made a splash (pun intended) up against the big leagues in Miami and we are just LOVING this high-waisted floral bikini with pastel lace trimming for a sexy touch.

3. Mara Hoffman

Gotta give Mara Hoffman props for putting her models in cowboy boots down the catwalk! Not to mention this exotic bikini too! High waisted, strapless and a fun african-inspired print. What a winner!

4. Lisa Blue

Another homegrown talent – Lisa Blue! How adorable is this nautical two-piece? Not only is Lisa Blue’s swimwear sexy and fun but she is also doing her bit to help the animal kingdom. 25% of swimwear is donated to the Australian Whale Conservation Society. 5. Mara Hoffman

There is just something so festival-chic about Mara Hoffman’s effortlessly cool high waisted shorts and strapless combo. This would suit most body types and we love the lace-up detail on the sides plus, swap the bottoms for denim shorts and you’re Big Day Out ready!

Fave 5 One-Pieces

1. White Sands

White Sands and their elegant two-toned floral one piece has caught our eye and nabbed the top spot. With so much bold colour going on it’s refreshing to see something in an earthy blush (provided you’re nice and tan!)

2. Aqua Di Lara

My love for geometrics is just growing stronger! (Expect a trend report soon!) Aqua Di Lara raises the temperature with this hot-to-trot harlequin print swimsuit. Great shape too!

3. Dorit

In another life, we are pretty sure Marilyn Monroe would have worn this Dorit swimsuit and she would have worn it well! Love the neutral colours and the draping at the front plus the feminine shape it creates – perfect for Bombshells! Va-va-voom!

4. Dolores Cortes

Some more geometric love coming your way from Dolores Cortez and doesn’t she do it well! Fun colours and daring prints liven up this simple swimsuit. Prepare for a brave new summer!

5. Lisa Blue

I don’t think we need to explain why we love this cute Lisa Blue pin-up one piece! How could you not? With a fun print and contrasting striped straps we are adding this to our summer wishlist.
